Affiliate disclosure

Strong & Rooted is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you click a link and buy something, I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. I recommend only equipment I have used myself or would hand to a friend, and commission never decides the order of a list. Prices are never shown here because Amazon requires displayed prices to be live — click through to see what something costs today.

How I decide what to recommend

There is a great deal of money in selling things to women over forty, and most of it is made by frightening them. Supplement funnels in this category routinely invent a villain hormone, manufacture a deadline, and cite research that does not say what they claim it says.

So the rule here is simple, and I apply it before anything appears on this site: I only recommend something I would give my own mother. That means I read the sales page, not just the commission rate. If a product promises to melt anything, fix your hormones, or reverse your metabolism, it does not go on this site — no matter what it pays.

Commission never determines the order of a list, and a piece of equipment is never the reason a plan works. Bands and a chair are cheap on purpose.

Why there are no prices here

Amazon's Associates Operating Agreement requires that any price shown be pulled live from Amazon, because a price typed into a blog post goes stale the moment it is published and then it is simply misinformation. So I link, and Amazon shows you what something costs today.

Supplements

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

And, as everywhere on this site: talk to your doctor before you take something new, particularly if you take medication. Supplements interact with medication more often than the people selling them mention.
